Come along to Invergordon Academy’s Food Fair on Wednesday 16th September from 4.30-6.30pm.
Seafood Scotland are running workshops where you can learn why seafood is good for our health and be surprised by just how much seafood you enjoy. You will also be able to view and handle a variety of fresh and live species, including crab, lobster, langoustine, cod, haddock, monkfish, squid and more.
It is completely free of cost and everyone will get to try out fish, discover recipes and find out a bit more about the fishing industry. There will also be local food producers, including Bell’s Seafood, Black Isle Berries, Cromarty Cheese, as well as others attending the event, so you will be able to sample and buy some of the great, fresh, local produce that the surrounding area has to offer.
