Over the summer months the band have competed in the British, European and World Championships.

At the British Championships, in Bathgate, at the end of May, they were the first band from the Highlands to qualify for a final, narrowly missing the prize list by 1 point.

They built on this at the European Championship in Forres at the end of June, being placed 6th, and receiving the Jim Baxter Shield.

Last weekend, the band attended the World Championships in Glasgow, where they qualified for the final again, and finished 12th out of 29 bands.

This is a fantastic achievement for both the children and band, in only their second year of competing.
