Driving Ambitions Day

Tuesday 4th May

6th year pupils attended a day of talks and activities based on the story of Donald. Donald is a man who crashed his car by reckless driving, 5 months after passing his test. He was left in a very critical state with many injuries and is extremely lucky to be alive today.

We took part in various workshops led by; Ian Shearer- Driving Instructor, The British Red Cross, The Highlands and Islands fire service, The Highland Council, Highland Police and a local mechanic. Each talk gave us advice on safe driving so that as we learn to drive, we do it correctly and have fun whilst protecting ourselves and others.
