All S4 – 6 pupils who are leaving Invergordon Academy this summer need to ensure they have done the following:

• S4 & 5 pupils – Received confirmation of acceptance onto a college or university course/accepted for a job/apprenticeship, or have a confirmed plan of what they will do when they do leave school. The school careers adviser will help any pupils struggling with a career plan. Pupils should not leave school if they do not have a confirmed plan for their next steps post school.

• S4 pupils leaving school must be 16 years old by September 30th, otherwise they are only permitted to officially leave school in January 2021. Please contact Mr Houston if you have any questions regarding school leaving age.

• Completed the school leavers survey in their year group google classroom. Some pupils have already done this.

• Returned their chromebooks, borrowed subject text books and any library books. They can do this by dropping the items off to the academy between 11am and 12.30pm on any Thursday or Friday, up until Thursday 2nd July. There is a box to place items and a form to fill-in. This is located in the main entrance to the school, on a table on the left hand side as you enter. Please bring your own pen and use the hand sanitizer provided. Pupils who do not return any borrowed items may be charged for replacements.

School leavers – we would like to get all of you back into school to say a proper goodbye, when the restrictions allow us to do so. We will keep you updated with the plans for this.
