Our local rugby team, Ross Sutherland, won the BT Bowl during a match at Murrayfield.  It was a momentous occasion for the local team, and was helped a lot by some former pupils:

• John Mann (former pupil) was man of the match
• Shaun McGowan (former pupil) 
• Tom Bannerman (former pupil) – was unfortunately ineligible to play in the final, but was a key part in the team’s road to the final.  He has shown amazing commitment by travelling back from his course in Stirling every weekend to play for the side
• John and Steven Reid (former pupils)
• Gareth Braddick (English teacher)

Not bad for a small town – shows you what you can achieve if a small community works together 🙂
