The news team met up with the new head of English and languages, Miss Treanor, to ask her a few questions.
Q1: What were your first impressions of the school?
It has a lovely and friendly atmosphere, the pupils are hardworking and I’m really enjoying being here.
Q2: What did you do before you came here?
I was an English teacher at Fortrose Academy for the last six years… lion taming on the side.
Q3: Do you have any hobbies?
I like traditional music and I play the fiddle. I also like reading – that’s a bit stereotypical…
Q4: Do you have any tips for pupils for the coming year?
Oh my goodness… Keep up to date with work and ask for help if you get stuck. Enjoy it. Don’t stress.
Q5: What is your dream job?
To be a travel journalist, visiting hotels and restaurants in a private jet.
Thank you Miss Treanor for talking to us!
