The government has announced that very limited numbers of S4 – S6 pupils who require to complete practical work in order to achieve an SQA certificate will return from Monday 22nd February.

Only a small number of our pupils will be required to attend school to access practical activities that cannot be undertaken at home.
These pupils will be contacted directly and attend for one day for each of the following subject/levels until the practical work is completed.
- Monday: N4 Practical Metalwork & Higher Art
- Tuesday: N5 & Higher Admin & IT
- Wednesday: N5 & Higher Graphic Communication, N5 Art
- Thursday: N4 Practical Woodwork
There is also a possibility that the Engineering and Construction classes could be called in – TBC.
All pupils and staff will be expected to adhere to 2m social distancing, wear a mask at all times and follow hand-washing/sanitising procedures while in attendance, with the exception of those who are exempt.
School lunches will be available or packed lunches can be brought in. Pupils will not be able to go to the High St and return for lunch.
Pupils currently in classrooms – primarily the children of key workers and those considered vulnerable – will retain their places.
