On the last Friday of the first term Invergordon Academy held the annual Active Girls Day.  All girls in the school were involved at some stage during the day.  Active Girls Day is a dedicated day to encourage girls to be more active, as well as having the opportunity to participate in activities with other girls.  Activities on offer were:- gymnastics, use of wall bars, spin bikes, trampolining, table tennis, basketball, dance and rocketball.  Many girls really enjoy this day to exercise and have fun with their friends. Well done to the girls who got stuck in. Thanks to the PE Department and Active Schools for organising/helping to run the day.
