Congratulations to the Rock Challenge team wh have placed for the third year in a row!!!!

On our 3rd year of entry we achieved an awesome second place and another chance at the Scottish final in Dundee!

“Director of Care & Learning, Bill Alexander just couldn’t get away from Eden Court over three nights of high octane music, dance and drama. For the area newsletter, he said, “Rock Challenge has become a great night out in the Highland calendar, with Eden Court sold out for 3 nights in a row, every year. The performance on the night by each school, is the culmination of weeks of planning, preparations and rehearsals by hundreds of children and young people across the authority.
The standard and quality of the performances is tremendous, and is reflected in the success of Highland schools at the Scottish finals. And there seems to be something very special happening in Ross-shire, as schools from the area have been especially successful in both the Highland and national events.
This is tribute to the staff, parents and volunteers, who help make this happen. It is also great tribute to the dedication and talents of the young people in our schools, many of whom have begun to buddy with friends and family members in other schools, to sustain and develop the Rock Challenge experience. Well done to all of them!”
