During the month of May the English, Business Studies, Science and Social Science departments have teamed up to create a cross-curricular project about rewilding. The current S1, soon to be S2, have visited 3 local sites in small groups: Alladale, Fearn Farm and the Highland Wildlife Park as part of this study.

We have been using Google’s G Suite for Education to create teaching materials and have used Hangouts to live stream interviews from Alladale and Fearn Farm back to the school.

The pupils have started work in Science and are due to start work for Geography, Business Studies and English at the start of the new timetable. They will be using Google Sites to share their learning experiences with parents/guardians. We hope you will enjoy seeing the hard work of all our S2 pupils. The final assessment will be in the form of documentaries made by the pupils with footage shot at our site visits, so look out for these towards the end of June.
